Ultimate vLD 1040 (very long drain) is a low SAPS Group IV PAO (polyalphaolefin) based full synthetic diesel engine oil blended with a “new generation” additive package to provide far higher levels of protection against corrosion, sludging, acidification, and oil oxidation as well as very high shear stability in comparison to a conventional super high performance diesel oils (SHPD).

 Why PAO Synthetic Base Oil?

PAO synthetics offer a number of advantages over conventional mineral and synthetic oil based lubricants

  • Very high Viscosity Index (156) – minimal viscosity change at both high and low operating temperatures
  • Superior oxidation resistance
  • Higher film strength – ability to retain lubricating properties under high load
  • Full compatibility with all types of seals and coatings
  • Extended lubricant life of up to five or six times that of mineral, semi-synthetic and synthetic oils (subject to filter change as specified by the OEM)

Ultimate vLD meets every International specification for top performance and long service life in all four stroke naturally aspirated and turbo engines, giving greater wear protection against soot induced thickening, valve train wear, ring and liner wear, oxidation thickening and piston deposit.

Ultimate vLD through its unique formulation offers extended oil change intervals of up to 5 or 6 times the normal service period, even more under suitable conditions.

Ultimate vLD has also been formulated for use in Engines with or without Diesel Particulate filters (DPF) and or Catalytic converters and meets the Euro IV & Euro V specifications for exhaust emissions and fuel efficiency and is recommended for use in DAF, Deutz, Iveco, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Scania and Volvo Euro IV or Euro V engines as well as large direct injection (DI) Japanese engines such as Hino, Isuzu, Mitsubishi and UD and in all vehicles that require the following lubricant performance standards.

PLATINUM 530 ...  is a full Synthetic low SAPS SAE 5w/30 engine oil designed for Diesel and Petrol engines fitted with Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) and or Catalytic Converters whilst offering high performance and long drain capabilities.

Also available in an SAE 5w/40 (Platinum 540)

 Platinum 530 is formulated with lower levels or Sulphated Ash, Phosphorous and Sulphur (low SAPS) and meets the latest Euro V and Euro IV specifications.

Diesel LOGIC ... is a Semi Synthetic medium ash (1.49%) SAE 15w/40, CI-4plus/SL diesel oil that has been formulated using the finest group 2 Paraffinic and Synthetic base stocks and additives available, resulting in an advanced Heavy Duty Diesel Engine Oil designed to meet the requirements of API CI-4plus, European ACEA E5-99, Caterpillar ECF-1, Jaso DH-1 and Cummins CES 20078, as well as meeting or exceeding many other specifications.

Diesel Super ... is a High Performance, Low Ash 15w/40, CH-4/SJ Diesel Oil designed for the pre 1999 US Emission Design, a wide variety of European and Japanese 4 stroke diesel engines, and in particular, Highly Stressed Turbocharged engines. It effectively controls and inhibits bore polishing tendencies, high oil consumption rates and premature wear.

Diesel Super minimizes the formation of land and ring groove deposits, particularly in the extremely hot and tight top piston circumferal area. Left uncontrolled, these deposits lead to Bore Polish.
